Role overview
A part-time analyst role (three days a week, fully remote) inside Vertex’s analytics practice. You will build dashboards, reconcile data across client systems, and write the insight summaries consultants present to executives.
Ideal for an analyst who wants consulting exposure without full-time travel. Hours flex around your week, the data problems are genuinely varied, and top performers convert to full-time strategy roles.
What you will do
- Build and maintain client dashboards in Power BI and spreadsheets
- Clean, join and validate data from CRM, finance and web sources
- Write weekly insight notes: what moved, why, and what to do
- Support consultants with ad-hoc analysis for live engagements
- Document data definitions so clients can self-serve confidently
What you bring
- 1–2 years in analytics, reporting or data-adjacent work
- Fluent Excel/Sheets and one BI tool (Power BI preferred)
- Working SQL for joins, aggregations and QA checks
- Consulting-grade written summaries: crisp, sourced, actionable
- UK-based for occasional London workshops (expenses covered)
